This issue is usually caused by a defective or worn-out cartridge and seat and springs in some faucet models.
The cartridge in your faucet helps to control the flow of water in the faucet and a worn-out or defective cartridge can lead to leaking or dripping.
Replacing the cartridge and seat and spring, if your faucet model requires one, will usually correct this issue of dripping from the spout.
To identify replacement cartridges, you may visit the item page by searching the model number of the faucet.
Once you reach the item page, all the replacement parts should be listed under the “Replacement Parts” section at the bottom of the page.
If you are having difficulties identifying the part, please feel free to contact our support team for further instructions.
