The low pressure typically means that there is debris either clogging the aerator on the faucet or the faucet itself is clogged with debris.
Try removing the aerator from the faucet first to see if the pressure is normal, if the pressure is normal then remove and clean out the aerator. To clean out the aerator, unscrew the aerator counterclockwise. Pick the outer housing and screen (2 & 3) out and clean it in water by reversing it and rinsing it. (BE CAREFUL when reinstalling the aerator, it must be reinstalled in the opposite sequence that it was taken apart)
If the pressure is still low after cleaning and reinstalling the aerator, there may be debris inside the cartridge. Remove the cartridge and blow at it carefully to remove the debris.
If there is still low pressure or issues with the water streams, then go ahead and request a new cartridge with your warranty information. If the problem persists, then there may be an issue with the plumbing.
Obstruction in the water flow can be caused by sand, pipe rust, or micro pebbles. One way to test for obstruction in the plumbing is to reinstall an old faucet and compare its performance with the new faucet. This will allow you to see if there are issues in the plumbing or if the issue is with the faucet assembly and operation.
