1. First you need to turn off the water supply to the house.
2. Make sure the handle is at the end of the 'off' position
3. Remove button #14 with sharp items by prying
4. Remove Philips screw #15
5. Lift up handle tip #17 and re-insert to the closest possible alignment
6. Most of the time, you have already aligned both handles using this method.
7. If the alignment is still off a little, please use the basin wrench.
8. Heading under the faucet, you will need to locate and turn the brass retainer nut #24
a) Depending on how tight #24 is, you will need to turn carefully and watch the handle tip align to stop
b) Do not overturn or this is ONLY a slight adjustment
9. To complete the installation. the brass retainer nut should be tight enough to keep the entire assembly in place without easily rotating
10. Make sure to use dry hands to feel around all the connections to search and triple check for any leakage
