Kingston’s bath hardware accessories come in several materials. Most of our accessories are manufactured from zinc alloy, a highly durable and resistant material ideal for this application. The remaining accessories in our offering are made of solid brass. Secondary materials - such as accent pieces, internal mounting parts, and the like - may also be produced from materials like porcelain, ceramic, and aluminum. Most of the finishes in our bath hardware accessories are electroplated, although some such as our polished brass are applied through Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD). Our Oil Rubbed Bronze and Naples Bronze are living finishes that will patina over time, just like on our faucets and other fixtures.
Kitchen Sink Accessories (in sink - drains, grids, etc.)
Kingston offers a range of kitchen accessories and upgrades in a range of materials. Disposal flanges and many of our drain and strainer assemblies are brass, a combination of brass and stainless steel, or are all stainless steel. Our sink grids are all stainless steel to ensure durability and oxidation resistance. We offer finish-matched sink hole covers made of stainless steel for durability.
Kitchen Sink Accessories (next to sink - air gaps, air switches, soap dispensers)
Kingston’s kitchen sink accessories come in a range of materials. We offer side sprayers manufactured in solid brass as well as lighter weight models in engineering grade ABS, a highly durable, non-leaching plastic. Our air gaps have polyethylene internals, standard in the industry for these components, and a solid brass finish-match cover. Similar to our air gaps, our disposal air switches have polyethylene internals and stainless steel finish-matched buttons and flanges. Our deck mount soap dispensers are made from either solid brass or solid 304 Grade stainless steel, and all feature an engineering-grade ABS soap bottle to ensure safety and durability
