My pull down kitchen faucet will not switch between spray and stream mode. How can I fix this?

When your pullout or pull down sprayer will no long switch between stream and spray modes the internal diverter is usually defective or damaged.
To remedy this, the sprayer portion of the faucet will need to be replaced.
